Hidden or Lost?: Hidden

History: Long before it earned its current name, The Sleeping Burg was a bustling city renowned for sweeping Gothic arches, intricately inlaid façades, and a vibrant populace. But then a strange thing happened. Everyone started to slow, and all at once the entire city fell into an impenetrable sleep. Any who tried to enter soon suffered the same fate, falling into a dreamless sleep until they died of natural causes. Many blamed dark magic, but the truth was in the sewers.
Decades prior, unbeknownst to the city above, the defeated Ooze Lord Blap had fled to the city’s labyrinthine sewer system, and there they discovered a perfect habitat for a new kingdom. Across the years, Blap fed on the city’s filth, growing larger and more powerful. After Blap spread itself into a thin, almost imperceptible film over every surface of the sewer, it grew to cover the overcity and its populace, causing all to fall into a deadly sleep. As Blap grew, so did his fame among the slimes, jellies, sentient scums, and other ooze creatures across the world. Many of these formless goo creatures flocked to the sewers, eventually forming the ooze kingdom that came to be known as The Ichorium. Blap had created a land where the shapeless ruled, leaving the city above as a grim warning to any trespassers. It was a sanctuary for slimekind, and a deadly nightmare for all others.
Within the twisted, stinking borders of The Ichorium, there are a number of wondrous and deadly sites for any who can survive to see them. There's the Elemental Tempest where slimes of various, often contradictory, elements attempt to clash or merge to produce odd new hybrids; there is The Garden of All Shapes where the slimekind can experiment with new forms, angles, and semi solid states; The Hardening Hole acts as a kind of execution chamber for slimes as they are dried out, becoming beautiful gems which are discarded down a massive sewer pipe; The Zoo Tubes hold wild ooze variations that are too dangerous to let loose and too valuable to kill; the list goes on. In the massive central cistern at the heart of The Ichorium is the Blap Scoby, the Ooze Lord’s central form. It sits at the bottom of a roiling lake of communing shapeless beings.
Every surface of The Ichorium is covered in different goos and slime of every imaginable color and texture, some living, some residual. But whether an ooze is glowing, sparking, babbling, acidic, or beyond, all the vile are welcome in The Ichorium. All others beware.
