Hidden or Lost?: Hidden

History: Many thousands of years ago the Warlock King Itch set out to harness the heart of affection, of Love itself.

Delving deep into the primal dimensions to locate the essence he sought to control, Itch quickly realized that love was not a singular force, for he did not love violence and mayhem in the same way that he adored those he lay with. Using his gift for transplaner philosophy, Itch identified exactly seven loves that he believed sat at the root of all pleasure: Adoration, Control, Pride, The Sate, Freedom, Touch, and Victory. From each of these trees, all different pleasures grew, and Itch would have them all.

The powerful wizard spent years traveling the essential planes searching for symbols that he could invest with the powers of the Seven Loves, that he might experience only the purest, most intense joy. He eventually succeeded, collecting the very hearts of the Seven Loves, all of which took on different material forms. Adoration appeared as a single perfect sphere that inspired and fascinated. The Sate took the form of an endless bacchanal feast that raged like a storm on the edge of spilling over, balancing on an eternal perfect moment of fullness. Control became a reel of enchanted puppet string, that could confine, bind, or direct the action of anything or anyone, often without their knowledge. Pride took the form of a hypnotic mirror that reflects one's perfect self as they would wish or believe themselves to be seen. Freedom was simply a long precipice, a platform hanging over open air, beckoning all to step off into the air of true liberation. Touch manifested as a chamber of grasping hands, some of them caressing, and some the claw. Finally there was Victory, which took the form of a giant throne from which one could rule and claim dominion over all they saw.

About these loves Itch built his obelisk to contain them.

For a time Itch invited his allies and supporters to visit and partake of the captured passions, however he soon became paranoid and covetous. He despaired that the Seven Loves, all the happiness in the universe, would be taken from him. So he ran, with his plundered joys in tow.

Itch disappeared along with the Obelisk of Seven Loves, and to this day they remain hidden somewhere in the wild expanses of the planes.
